| Comments: | In the mid 17th Century, West Rasen became a Roman Catholic enclave. In the 19th Century a Roman Catholic Chapel/School was built for villagers. This was given to the village in 1943 by the then landowner. In 1998, a decision was made to restore the building. This enterprise took the group 8 years to complete. The group has adopted the Green Man, a symbol of re-growth and renewal, as an emblem. Meetings aren held on the first Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm.
