Comments:In the mid 17th Century, West Rasen became a Roman Catholic enclave. In the 19th Century a Roman Catholic Chapel/School was built for villagers. This was given to the village in 1943 by the then landowner. In 1998, a decision was made to restore the building. This enterprise took the group 8 years to complete. The group has adopted the Green Man, a symbol of re-growth and renewal, as an emblem. Meetings aren held on the first Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm. This year, speakers from different faiths will provide information about their beliefs. All welcome
