Description: Come and enjoy a visit to Victorian times at the grandest house in town. Take a step back in time with a tour of this Grade I listed house and gain an insight into its varied history. A special exhibition also commemorates the life of Herbert Ingram whose statue stands in front of St Botolph's Church - the Boston Stump.

In the 200th Anniversary year of his birth in Boston, this exhibition will be a unique opportunity to learn about this extraordinary Boston Victorian, his contribution to the town, achievements as founder of the Illustrated London News and view documents and items never before on public display.

Boston- Victorian Railway Town

Description: Victorian Boston was the heart of the Great Northern Railway in Lincolnshire. This tour will look at the remains of railway works, workers' housing and the Victorian suburb of Carlton Road close to the station. Event organised by the Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology.

Outdoor clothing is advised.

Tour starts and ends at different places so people coming by car will have to walk back afterwards. The tour will last approximately two hours.

Description: Historic military college designed for and still used for the training of RAF officer cadets before entry into the Royal Air Force. Famous old boys include Frank Whittle, Douglas Bader, Hugh Malcolm VC and Peter Townsend.

Directions: On the B1397 3 miles west of Gosberton on the road to Dowsby. Please note that the church does not have a tower or a spire.
Description: A unique oak-framed church designed by Comper and Bucknall; the east window and furnishings made in their workshop. There will also be a display of Victorian pictures and artefacts gathered from local villagers.
