Liz Mordue BA (Hons)
Assistant Historic Environment Officer
Liz studied Ancient History and Archaeology at Durham University and, after graduating, worked in Devon, Hertfordshire and Cornwall, primarily as a finds assistant and supervisor. In 1994 she took the opportunity to supervise on a large urban excavation in Dresden for two years.
Liz worked as a digger in Lincolnshire between 1997 and 2000, then as a supervisor in Essex, helping to run a multi-period site near Chelmsford. Since leaving Essex in 2003 she has worked in Bristol and Befordshire, gaining experience in research, report writing, and the inner workings of a county Historic Environment Record.
