Gift Aid - preserving our heritage
Help preserve our Heritage
|
Since it was founded, the Trust has raised over £4 million for the preservation of Lincolnshire's heritage. The Trust relies entirely on core funding from Lincolnshire County Council and project grants and voluntary donations to carry out its work.
We would like to invite our supporters to make a donation towards the Trust's work. A gift of £10 would help to cover the cost of sending out the Trust's newsletter 'Lincs with the Past' for the next year. Any donation over £10 will be used towards the repair of important historic buildings, and helps us to secure match funding from organisations such as the Heritage Lottery Fund, English Nature and the European Community – enabling Heritage Lincolnshire to continue to save threatened buildings.
Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving to charity. Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we will receive an extra 28p from the Inland Revenue. This means a £10 Gift Aid donation is worth £12.80 to the Trust and it doesn't cost you a thing. If you are a UK taxpayer simply complete the relevant details on the Gift Aid form, print it out and send it to the Trust. The Government will add any tax you paid to your donation. One single Gift Aid declaration can apply to all past donations you have made since April 2000 and to all future donations.
