Heritage Lincolnshire hits a century!

The Lincolnshire Heritage at Risk project is proving to be very popular, as record numbers of people are signing up to the role of Heritage Steward.

Volunteering with Heritage Lincolnshire is very flexible and you can work in your own local area and discover the heritage on your doorstep. We offer training, guidance and ongoing support and in return we are grateful for each and every survey that is sent back to us. There are over 7,000 historic buildings, sites and open spaces to be surveyed, so any help you can offer in your spare time is much appreciated!

Although we have had lots of interest to date we are still recruiting and will be offering an event in your area over the next three years. So keep an eye on our events list and let us know if you would like to book a place.

Don't forget to drop in at our launch event - this will be held at the Petwood Hotel, Woodhall Spa on Monday 26th April 2010. Pop in to meet new staff and some of our 100 volunteers between 3pm and 7pm to learn more about the project.

We look forward to meeting the next 100!
