Write A Lincolnshire Folk Song 2010
Ten songs will be selected to be performed live at a special finals night concert to be held in the beautiful surroundings of Spilsby Theatre.

Looking for Landscapes

Lincolnshire Coastal Marshes Project - Heritage and Landscape study. An opportunity to contribute
The Lincolnshire Coastal Grazing Marshes (LCGM) Project aims to conserve and enhance the grazing marshes so that they can be understood and enjoyed by residents and visitors alike as well as future generations. As part of this initiative, Heritage Lincolnshire are undertaking a heritage landscape assessment on behalf of the LCGM Project.

New interpretation board at Tattershall College
Thanks to a grant from Waste Recycling Environmental (WREN) the Trust has been able to install a new interpretation board at Tattershall Old College.

Tupholme Abbey Sculpture Project
The Trust has been working with the Lincolnshire Limewoods project, Bourne artist Nicola Mclean and children from Bardney Primary School to create and install a willow sculpture at Tupholme Abbey.....

Heritage Lincolnshire hits a century!
The Lincolnshire Heritage at Risk project has now attracted 100 volunteers who are keen to help us with our audit of the condition of the county's historic buildings, sites and open spaces.

Hedgelaying at Tupholme Abbey
We unfortunately had to cancel the hedgelaying course at Tupholme Abbey on 21st February due to the snow. We are re-running the event this coming sunday 7th March.

A great start to the year for Heritage Lincolnshire!
The Heritage Lottery Fund has pledged an award of £304,300 for the Lincolnshire Heritage at Risk project. This ground breaking project will create a network of volunteer Heritage Stewards who will carry out a large scale investigation of Lincolnshire's heritage.

What's Happening at 116 High Street, Boston?

Come along to 116 High Street, Boston to see the work undertaken so far and to hear about what Heritage Lincolnshire has planned for the future. Give us your ideas about how the project could help the local community and tell us how you would like to get involved.
 
Three events have been planned over the summer:
 
116 Past, Present and Future
Saturday 31st July 2010
Drop in between 11am - 3pm at 116 High Street, Boston
 
Come along and learn more about the building's history, its current state and future plans for 116 High Street. Architect Mary Anderson will be on hand from 11am - 12noon to discuss how this historic building was constructed and how it has changed over time. Please bring along any old photographs, stories, or memories you have of the building and the surrounding area and add them to out 116 High Street interactive timeline. We will also be launching the 116 Boston Burger Competition to create a burger inspired by the local area and its produce!
 
116 Secret Garden
Tuesday 24th August 2010
Drop in between 10am and 12 noon at Boston Baptist Church, 98 High Street, Boston
 
What lies behind the gates of 116 High Street? We are planning to make the land behind 116 into a garden for the local community. Pop in for half an hour and show us your ideas for this secret garden in this craft based workshop. An ideal summer holiday activity for children and adults alike!
 
116 BBQ
Sunday 19th September 2010

Come along to the High Street South Neighbourhood Group's annual BBQ to see an exhibition of what happened at the first two events and what we learnt from them. Find out what we will be doing next and sample the winning burger of the 116 Boston Burger competition!
