The Heritage Trust of Lincolnshire provides archaeological advice in relation to the planning process to three local authorities in Lincolnshire: Boston Borough Council, North Kesteven District Council and South Kesteven District Council.  Jenny Young provides the service to Boston and South Kesteven and Liz Mordue gives advice in North Kesteven.  The Heritage Trust of Lincolnshire hold archaeological records for these local authorities. The County Council Archaeology Section maintain and develop a Historic Environment Record for the whole County.

We also have a wide range of archaeological and heritage resources including maps, aerial photographs, parish files and an archaeological and local studies library. We welcome members of the public to come and use this resource by prior arrangement.
