Lincolnshire Salterns presents a series of reports on excavations of salt-making sites in Lincolnshire from the Iron-Age, Romano-British and the medieval periods. The excavations were underetaken from the 1960's through to the 1980's and are published here for the first time. Togerther they make a significant contribution to our knowledge of ancient salt-making processes; an important but poorly undertsood industry.
