At the mention of Pop Festivals most people will automatically think of Woodstock and the Isle of Wight. But Lincolnshire had its own events and four of these are recorded in this booklet. One of the many fascinating things about these Lincolnshire festivals is that two happened early in what became known as the "Woodstock years" and two happened towards the end.

Indeed, the event at Bardney in 1972 is often said to be the festival that ended the era. In addition to being an account of music and musical events in Lincolnshire during the late 1960's and early 1970's this booklet highlights some differences and developments in youth culture at the time.
